Animals Asia is an organization that deals with the rescue of Asian bears. Sun and moon bears, because we are talking about them, are the smallest bears in the world. They are not predatory, they feed on fruit, insects, and honey. If bears celebrated Christmas, these Asian bears could do it because they do not hibernate. Unfortunately, Asian bears are capturedand locked in small cages in order to collect their bile (used, although not effective, in Chinese medicine). Animals Asia helps the bears, rescue them from their cages and creates a friendly environment for them. You can read more about their wonderful activities here www.animalsasia.org
